Fleetwood Mac - Little lies

Little Lies is a song by the English/American rock band Fleetwood Mac. It was the third single to be taken from their 1987 album Tango in the Night. As of 2012, it is their final top 10 hit in the U.S.

The song was composed by the band's keyboard player and vocalist, Christine McVie and her then-husband Eddy Quintela. When released, the song reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. (#1 for four weeks on the American adult contemporary chart) and #5 on the UK Singles Chart. 

The single was also available on the 12-inch format, featuring an extended dance version, a dub version, and the single's B-side, "Ricky", a non-album track penned by Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham. A limited 12-inch picture disc was also released in the UK, and it was also the first Fleetwood Mac single to be issued on the cassette-single format.

Cover versions

Irish band The Jane Bradfords recorded a stripped back version for a BBC live session.

Swedish singer-songwriter Anna Ternheim recorded a cover of the song for her 2005 EP Shoreline.

American singer-songwriter Ari Hest recorded a cover of the song for his 2006 EP The Green Room Sessions.

Swiss television hostess and model Michelle Hunziker on her 2006 LP Lole.

Seventh season American Idol winner David Cook has covered the song live on his 2009 Declaration Tour. He also performed this song on Good Morning America with Kris Allen and Adam Lambert from season 8.

Third season Norwegian Idol runner-up Tone Damli Aaberge recorded a cover version for her 2009 album I Know.

Mindy Smith covered the song as a bonus track on the iTunes version of her 2009 album Stupid Love.
